An interactive game with built in sponsorship
Adidas Shootout is a fan-focused gaming app created for the LA Kings in partnership with Adidas. Designed to boost engagement through interactive gameplay, the app also served as a seamless platform for brand integration. The goal: entertain fans while embedding Adidas’ sponsorship naturally into the experience. With a wide audience in mind, the app prioritized immersive design, intuitive interaction, and a strong connection to the LA Kings’ identity.
Bringing the game to life
The design process began with extensive user research, leading to the creation of intuitive wireframes and dynamic prototypes. The app features a core interactive game, virtual challenges, and real-time competitive play, all woven into the LA Kings narrative. A key achievement was the subtle incorporation of Adidas products and promotions, ensuring a non-intrusive yet effective brand presence. Tools like Photoshop and Figma were instrumental in crafting the user interface, with Firebase supporting real-time engagement analytics.​​​​​​​
